who are we and what can you expect?
- OK Event Photography is owned and operated by me, Jen Tiffany (yep, Tiffany is my last name). I’ve been a professional photographer in the OKC /Edmond/Moore/Norman area for almost 10 years. I’ve done a little of everything, but my specialty is events. Charities are my favorite but I also love everything from baby showers and birthday parties to corporate events and grand openings.
- I’m still a very small business and don’t directly employ any other photographers, but I often recruit others in my network to help with larger events. The number of photographers needed will vary and I’ve always been able to cover an event effectively. Pricing for events is based on size and number of photographers needed. If I can cover an event myself, I will. But sometimes I need to hire help.
- Consultations are always free! If you have questions or want to meet to decide if I’m a good fit for your special occasion, there’s no charge for that, ever. Book a consultation now.
- It’s important to me that my clients know what to expect. I will walk you through the process, and together we will come up with a plan to make sure photography coverage runs smoothy and your event is captured to your satisfaction.
- I always show up about an hour early (this depends on the type of event) to set up gear, test lights, view the facility and begin capturing detail photos before guests arrive. I want to feel prepared and organized and my clients appreciate that too.
- I love to have fun! It’s important to me that guests feel comfortable and enjoy their time at the event. Some people don’t love having a camera pointed at them and it’s my job to put them at ease. This is a skill I’ve practiced over the years.
- You’ve worked hard to organize this event and I always make sure to capture the details you have put so much thought into.
- Images will be delivered in a digital gallery 1 week from the event, at the latest. If any images are needed for publication/press release, we can work out a deadline ahead of time.
Do we do weddings?
Nope! Weddings are a very specialized field of event photography. After covering a few of these myself, I discovered that while I was good at it, it’s just not what I love doing. I’d much rather refer you to a specialized and talented wedding photographer. You deserve to have this very momentous occasion covered in the absolute best way possible and your photographer should love participating in the event along side you.
